Channel M5 of MTVA, the umbrella organisation for the Hungarian public service media, will be airing both the final and the documentary on the II Éva Marton International Singing Competition on 26 October.

All photos of the contest has been published, the videos will be available from 26 October 2016.

The II Éva Marton International Singing Competition organized by the Liszt Academy came to an end with the triumph of Belarusian bassist Alexander Roslavets.

The Grand Prix and the Audience Prize goes to Alexander Roslavets, Ankhbayar Enkhbold won the 1st prize, Hungarian Horti Lilla won the 2nd prize and Lucina Jarzabek was awarded with the 3rd prize.

The Belarusian Alexander Roslavets won the €15,000 Grand Prix and the Audience Prize of the Éva Marton International Singing Competition in the final on Saturday; the only Hungarian competitor, Lilla Horti, won second prize.

All special prizes and diplomas were handed over on the 25 September Gala Concert.

The 22 September (Thursday) round will be live streamed on the competition website from 3.00pm.

The rounds of the contest organized between 19-25 September at Liszt Academy, will begin from No. 48.

On the basis of the decision of the pre-jury headed by Éva Marton, 50 women and 27 men can test their skills in the 19-25. September live rounds.

Regarding to the high interest, applications to the II Éva Marton Singing Competition may be uploaded via the online application form at latest until Monday, 2 May 2016 12.00 CET.

Applications for the contest – being staged between 19-25 September 2016, with total prize money amounting to €42,000 – can be submitted by sending in video recordings until 27 April.

Liszt Academy, organizer of the competition announces that the II. Éva Marton International Singing Competition will be held from 19 to 25 September 2016. The online application will be opened in February 2016 and the application deadline is 27 April 2016.
