Contestants in the preliminary 2026

A total of 265 young talents from 40 countries applied to the seventh edition of Liszt Academy’s prestigious event, which offers prize money exceeding €70,000.

With a total prize fund of more than 70,000 euros, Liszt Academy's 7th Éva Marton International Singing Competition will be held in early September 2026 in Budapest.

With the performance of the twelve finalists and the ceremonial presentation of prizes and special awards, the Éva Marton International Singing Competition of 2024 organised by the Liszt Academy closed on Sunday evening at the Hungarian State Opera.

Jihoon Park won the 30,000 euros first prize at the Saturday evening final of the 6th Éva Marton International Singing Competition organized by the Liszt Academy.

Six female and six male singer will take the stage with a colourful programme at the Final in the Grand Hall of Liszt Academy on Saturday evening.
