Anna Giovanna Pardo Canedo began her musical studies at the age of eight. She received her secondary arts degree in 2003, with a specialization for both voice and piano. In 2004 she won the first prize of the National Singing Competition Das Lied organized by the Goethe Institute in La Paz (Bolivia). Between 2005 and 2011 she studied classical singing at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent under the guidance of Gidon Saks, Marcos Pujol and Evelyne Bohen. In 2011 she obtained her Master's degree for Classical Singing and won the Alfred Aerens Prize as the most rewarding singing student at the conservatory.

She has participated in masterclasses by Claudio Desderi, Helen Donath, Teresa Berganza, Helmut Deutsch, François Le Roux, Giancarlo del Monaco, Christopher Robson, Jennifer Hamilton, Michael Spyres, Ubaldo Fabbri, Andrew Kennedy and Tom Krause. Currently she attends classes given by Catherine Vandevelde in Belgium. Since the 2012-2013 academic year she is also a student at the School of Music Reina Sofía in Madrid, in the Chair of Voice Alfredo Kraus Fundación Ramón Areces. In June 2013 she received the Mention as Most Outstanding Student of her Chair from the Queen of Spain.

She has also participated in several projects throughout Europe, for instance, she sang during different concerts in the Flemish Opera of Ghent with Arte Vocale. In Bolivia she gave several concerts with the Symphonic Orchestra of Cochabamba. In South Creacke (England), she played Eurydice in the opera L'Orfeo by Monteverdi. Anna conducted the World Choir Karibu in Ghent from January 2010 to September 2012.
