Johanna Nagy was accepted by the Faculty of Arts at the University of Pécs. Since 2010 she has been studying singing there under the guidance of Ingrid Kertesi, Attila Kiss B., and actually with Ilona Tokody, all of them well-known Hungarian opera singers.

In the framework of the special opera series called Opera Tales at the National Theatre of Pécs she had the opportunity to portray Clorinda in Il combattimento di Tancredi e Clorinda by Monteverdi, the Sorceress in Dido and Aeneas by Purcell, the Gingerbread Witch in Hänsel und Gretel by Humperdinck and Despina in Così fan tutte by Mozart. She is very proud of a premiere of a cycle of songs by Árpád Balázs at the Kodály Centre (Pécs) because the composer dedicated the piece to her. Thanks to choirmaster Attila Kertész, she had the opportunity to perform as a soloist in Ugento (Italy) and many places across Israel.
