Krissan Manikan graduated from the Conservatoire à rayonnement régional de Paris where she obtained her Diplôme d'études musicales. She was also a scholar of the Classical Music Foundation established by Mr. George Yang. She studied music at the Santa Isabel College in Manila under Filipina soprano Josie Bailen. In 2011 Krissan participated in a week-long masterclass given by Florence Guignolet, French soprano, pedagogue and artist. After the masterclass, she was offered the opportunity to study at the French Conservatory.
In 2012, Krissan had her European debut in the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in the Netherlands with American pianist Andrew Wright as her collaborating artist. She has performed roles from Suor Angelica and L'Oie du Caire in Paris and Saintes, France. She also worked on leading roles of some opera scenes from Carmen and Così fan tutte at the Cultural Center of the Philippines, 2012. She was alto soloist in Mozart's Mass in C, Beethoven's Choral Fantasia and Mendelssohn's Elijah.
