Constance Malta-Bey - as a child - learned clarinet and ballet dancing in the prestigious Ballet School of Ballet du Nord in Roubaix. Until the age of 17 she wanted to become a choreographer, but she decided instead to study medicine to be a surgeon. In 2007, while studying viola, she was noticed for her vocal abilities and joined Nobuko Takahashi's singing class in Hellemmes (Lille).

Constance was quickly hired for opera productions and sang Fiorella in Les Brigands by Offenbach, in Anywhere Out Of by Braka (music) and Nora Granovski (staging) in a setting from Metamorphosis by Kafka in 2011. She sang the Contessa in Le nozze di Figaro by Mozart with the Conservatory Orchestra in Paris in 2013. She played Eurydice in Orphée aux enfers by Offenbach in Hellemmes and Lille in 2014.

Constance also sings oratorios as a soloist with the Hellemmes Chamber Orchestra and the chamber choir Quintessence. She sang Exsulate Jubilate and the Waisenhausmesse by Mozart in 2013. She also had the chance to be conducted by Helmut Rilling in Bach's cantata Herz und Mund und Tat und Leben in Stuttgart during the Bach Akademie in 2012. She sang as a chorister in the Matthäus-Passion by Bach in 2012 and 2013 on tour with Philippe Herreweghe and the Collegium Vocale Gent in New York, Barcelona, Vic, Amsterdam, Baden-Baden, Gent, Bruges, Vienna, Anvers, Budapest, Weimar and Zürich.
