Hungarian soprano Katalin Kaján studied at the Pikéthy Tibor Secondary School of Music in Vác between 2002 and 2005 where her teacher was Ilona Bakonyi. She was accepted by the Liszt Academy of Budapest in 2005 and graduated in 2009 as a student of Zsuzsa Forrai. She continued her studies at the Conservatory of the University of Szeged between 2009 and 2011 under the guidance of Mária Temesi and Tamás Pál. Since 2013 she has been visiting the classes of Olivera Miliakovic in Vienna.

Her repertoire includes the First Dame in Die Zauberflöte by Mozart, Adonella in Francesca da Rimini by Zandonai, Abigaille in Nabucco by Verdi and Musetta in La bohème by Puccini. She has cooperated with the Kisszínház and National Theatre of Szeged, National Theatre of Miskolc and the Óbudai Társaskör in Budapest.
