Erzsébet Vékes & Henrik Serfőző Piano Recital

Erzsébet Vékes and Henrik Serfőző lived their daily lives within the walls of the Liszt Academy from a very young age, both of them students of Gyöngyi Keveházi’s special talents class. It is not by chance that they chose the name “Rondo” as the title of the evening. Over the years, they have both been taken in different directions, but now they are returning to the Chamber Hall of the Old Academy of Music, where they have performed so many memorable concerts, with a joint production of solo and four-hand works. Their programme will take us from the Viennese Classics to French Impressionism, but the evening will also include several works by Irish composer-pianist John Field and two pieces by István Heller, who spent most of his life in France.
