Record number of applicants on IV. Éva Marton Singing Competititon

255 young opera singers from 47 countries sent their applications this year, which is a record.

We would like to inform all these applicants, that each of your recordings will be carefully watched, listened to and shortlisted by the local jury headed by Ks. Éva Marton.

The local jury will decide on applicants’ acceptance to the live rounds until May 18th.

Unfortunately, we cannot yet say if live rounds need to be postponed due to the pandemic, but if so, we would like to ensure all the singers that their applications will automatically be accepted even if they’ve exceeded the age limit by that time.
