Sabino Lenoci
Journalist and music critic. He has specialized in classical studies as well as studying graphic coordination and editorial planning. Later he worked at the Editoriale Galfa in Milan. In 1986 he designed and founded the first monthly magazine exclusively dedicated to music drama, l’ Opera. From 1990 to 1994 he collaborated with RAI for a radio broadcast on RadioTre, dedicated to the world of opera, and made biographical broadcasts about Giulietta Simionato, Giuseppe Di Stefano, Renata Tebaldi, Maria Callas etc.
In addition to his big activity as music consultant of various institutions and the creation of books dedicated to famous music characters, he is a member of the juries of almost all the Italian and foreign opera competitions. Since January 2005 he has been teaching courses on performing arts at La Scala Academy in Milan. Since 2006 he has been music consultant in the Elena Obraztsova Cultural Centre in Saint Petersburg where he has organized concerts at the Saint Petersburg Philharmonic and the Palace of Constantine. Since 2011 he has been director of the Marcello Giordani Competition and artistic director of the MG Foundation, which promotes young international singers.
