Applications for the contest – being started between 1- 8 September 2024, with total prize money amounting to €70,000 – can be submitted by sending in video recordings until 13 May.

Liszt Academy as organiser await applications from young singers aspiring to international recognition. The competition will take place in early September 2024 with a total prize fund of seventy thousand euros. 

The 5th Éva Marton International Singing Competition of the Liszt Academy ended on Sunday evening with a repeat performance by the twelve finalists and the special awards ceremony at the Budapest Opera House.

Andrei Danilov, 34, was awarded the first prize with 30,000 euros and also the audience award at the finals of the 5th Eva Marton International Singing Competition at the Liszt Academy on Saturday evening. Russian bass Aleksei Kulagin took second place with €20,000 and Jeong Inho Korean bass won the €10,000 third prize.
