The Chinese tenor was born in 1989, and he studied with the famous baritone Professor Changyong Liao at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music for his master’s degree. In June 2016, he was admitted to the Royal Danish Academy of Music for an advanced soloist degree, and studied with Eva Hess Thaysen and Anne Margrethe Dahl. He has taken classes by Roger Vignoles, Mikael Eliasen, Malcolm Martineau, Neville Dove, Christopher Purves, Salvatore Fisichella, Francisco Araiza, among others. His professional stage experiences include co-starring in Le nozze di Figaro with the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra at the Shanghai Oriental Art Center and in 2019 the role of Tamino in Die Zauberflöte at the Theater im Delphi in Berlin. He won 1st prize of the Vocal Group at the 2017 Vienna International Music Competition. He has been invited to perform in many cities across a number of countries, among them the Jiangsu Grand Theatre in Nanjing, the Shanghai Concert Hall, the Suntory Hall in Tokyo, the Tivoli Concert Hall and the Betty Nansen Theatre in Copenhagen, the Copenhagen Opera Festival and the Opéra Bastille in Paris.
