The soprano was born in Anyang, South Korea. She studied singing at Yonsei University in her hometown Seoul. In 2020 she won the “eco” music promotion prize from BASF Schwarzheide in January at the 9th ensemble competition of the Carl Maria von Weber University of Music in Dresden. In July 2019 she was a finalist at the 38th International Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition in Villach, Austria. She performed that year in a concert organized by the ZAV 'Junior Auditions 2019 at Theater Gelsenkirchen, in January 2018 in a production of the Carl Maria von Weber University of Music Dresden. In the 2018/19 and 2019/20 season she performed at the Halle Opera House as well. Participating in masterclasses with bassist Georg Zeppenfeld at the Carl Maria von Weber University of Music in Dresden, she studies since 2017 with Prof. Edward Randall, as well as at the Carl Maria von Weber University of Music in Dresden since March 2019.
