The Korean baritone has got his bachelor’s degree at the University in Busan, South Korea in 2015. He studied his Master in opera singing from 2016 at the University Carl Maria von Weber in Dresden with professor Margret Trappe-Wiel. He has also been taking singing lessons and classes with Manuela Uhl, Iris Vermillion and Harald Stamm. He had the opportunity to be part of the children’s opera Der kleine Freischütz as Kuno, which he has been offered as a prize after being part of a competition at the Festspiele der Kammeroper Rheinsberg. In 2019 he had his debut at the Croatia National Theatre Ivan pl. Zajc in Rijeka and at the Teatro Alighieri in Ravenna. He was one of the finalists of the Competizione dell’Opera in October 2017. In July 2018 he won the 3rd prize at the 3rd International Competition for Young Opera Singers “Zinka Milanov” in Croatia, and 1st prize at the 53rd International Antonín Dvořák Singing Competition in the Czech Republic, as well as the audience award.
