Zuzana Kohoutová was admitted to the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague in 2012. In 2013 she became a student of the Liszt Academy in Budapest in the singing class of Éva Marton. She finished her Master of Arts degree in 2017. Two year earlier, Ms Kohoutová received the Richard Wagner Scholarship to the Bayreuther Festspiele. She has also taken part in several singing masterclasses, for example with Andrea Rost, Nancy Argenta or Malcolm Bilson. During her studies at the Liszt Academy she introduced herself in several roles, for example Helena in Britten’s The Midsummer Night´s Dream or lately Miss Robosz in the contemporary opera La violetta by Árpád Solti. Being deeply interested in early music, she has also been regularly collaborating with conductor, harpsichordist Miklós Spányi, specialist in early music.
