Sivan Keren was born in Israel. She began her music studies playing the flute, graduating in 2009. She began her vocal studies in 2012 with Professor Tamar Rachum, and completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Prof. Rachum’s class in the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music at Tel Aviv University (2013-2019).

She also sings numerous Lieder and contemporary classical music works. Sivan Keren sang as soloist with Jerusalem Baroque Orchestra (2020-2021), the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra (2021), the Israel Symphony Orchestra Rishon LeZion (2020), the Israel Sinfonietta Beer Sheva (2018), The Netanya Kibbutz Orchestra (2018) and the BMSM Symphony Orchestra (2016).
Sivan Keren won first prize in the Aviv Competitions of the America-Israel Cultural Foundation in 2018: both the main prize and the Israeli vocal composition prize. She also won third prize in Buchman-Mehta School of Music vocal competition (2017 and 2018). She won excellence scholarships every year of her studies (2013-2019). She was also a semi-finalist in Concorso Lirico Riccardo Zandonai in Italy (2018), and a semi-finalist in International Hilde Zadek Voice Competition in Vienna, Austria (2019) and a semi-finalist in International “Vox Artis“ Voice Competition in Romania (2019), and was selected to participate in Festival der jungen Stimmen with concerts in Sigriswill, Bern, Basel, Zürich and Wiesbaden (2019).
Sivan Keren is currently a member of the Meitar Opera Studio, The Israeli Opera’s young artists program.
