Date of birth: 2 May, 1988
He was born in Kráľovský Chlmec, present-day Slovakia, in 1988. He is currently a master’s student at the Liszt Academy, having earned his bachelor’s degree there in 2018. Prior to that, he attended the Košice Timonova Conservatory. His teachers include Professor Emerita Éva Marton, Dr Magda Nádor, Marek Gurbaľ and Dr Michail Adamenko. He has attended a Suzuki training course (2020) and master classes by Claudio Di Segni, Krisztina Laki and Frank Hilbrich. In 2018, he received a special prize for male performance of the best Kodály song at the Éva Andor Memorial Competition, as well as a special prize from the jury member Lidija Horvat Dunjko at the József Simándy International Singing Competition. He has worked at the State Theatre Košice as a choral singer and appeared in solo roles in Verdi’s Rigoletto and Puccini’s Il tabarro. In recent years, he has performed in Mozart’s The Magic Flute and Idomeneo, as well as in Bizet’s Carmen (as part of his exams at the Liszt Academy) and at a Visegrád Four Concert in Portugal.
