Date of birth: 8 December, 1994
The baritone was born in Busan, South Korea. After training in high school with Jung Bae Kong, he is now studying classic vocal at the College of Music Seoul National University. He is currently studying with Professor Attila Jun. He also took part in master classes of Helmut Deutsch, Kwangchul Youn and Francisco Araiza at Seoul National University. He participated the institution’s performance of Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, as well as at Seoul Arts Center and Sejong Center. He won several competitions in his native country such as Schubert Song Competition, Music Chun-Choo Competition, Jinju Competition, National Opera Competition and Yoenji Lieder Competition. He is finalist of the Deutsche Oper Berlin Korea Audition and a Korean Broadcasting System Competition Finalist.
