The soprano participated in the Concert Examination program at the Cologne University of Music and Dance between 2016 and 2019, after graduating with a master’s degree from the same institution in 2016 and receiving her bachelor’s degree at the Seoul National University in 2013. She won 1st prize at the Korea Vocal Competition and at Young-ok Shin Vocal Competition in 2012, and since then, took part in masterclasses by Anne Schwanewilms, Claudia Kunz-Eisenlohr, Helmut Deutsch, Petra Lang, Bo Skovhus and Cheryl Studer. In recent years, she has been performing at Musiktheater im Revier, where she is a member of the ensemble since 2017, as well as at Oper Köln, at the Seoul National University and at the National Theater of Korea, working with conductors as Rasmus Baumann, Valtteri Rauhalammi, Will Humburg, François-Xavier Roth, Giuliano Betta, Thomas Rimes, Adrien Perruchon and Rainer Mühlbach.
