Ms Hayoung was born in Seoul and received her BA in Voice from the Korea National University of Arts. She sang Papagena in Die Zauberflöte in 2013 and Adina in L’elisir d’amore in 2016 within the framework of the university’s opera productions. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in opera at the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre with Professor Michaela Kaune. In addition to her recent awards at the Mozart Competition at the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre, Ms. Ra has numerous prizes from other competitions, including the Gangju Vocal Competition in Korea, Grand Prize in the Daegu Competition, and she was a semi-finalist at the 71e Concours de Genève.
