The South Korean tenor graduated from Dankook University in Seoul. In Korea, where he debuted as Alfredo in La traviata. He then continued his education at the G. Verdi Conservatory of Milan under the guidance of Adelisa Tabiadon, Jenny Anvelt, Nausicaa Policicchio and Fulvio Bottega, but he also attended masterclasses delivered by José Carreras, Jaume Aragall, Renato Bruson and James Vaughan. In 2016, he won 3rd prize of the 2nd International Artistic Competition "Arturo Toscanini", and in 2017, he came first at the 34th International "Boni Prize" Competition and third at the 33rd International Literary Competition "Ismaele Voltolini" and again third at the International Competition "T.O.S.C.A". In 2017, where he debuted as as Nemorino in L'elisir d'amore by Donizetti and in Switzerland as Ferrando in Così fan tutte. His repertoire includes Pollione in Bellini’s Norma, the Duke of Mantua in Rigoletto, Alfredo in La traviata, Rodolfo in La bohème, and the tenoro solo part in Verdi’s Requiem.
