Tenor Junbum Lee graduated from the Chugye University of Art in Seoul in 2012 and then completed his Master’s degree in opera singing at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. In the course of his studies, he took to the stage in Rossini’s Viaggo a Reims, Falstaff by Verdi, Puccini’s Il tabarro and Donizetti’s Maria Stuarda in 2015, he accompanied the Asia Youth Orchestra on their Asia tour, performing in the concert halls of China and Japan featuring as the soloist in Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9. In the same year, he was the silver medallist at the 40th International Maria Callas Grand Prix in Athens. Also, he received first prize at the Grandi Voci, international opera singers’ competition in Austria.
