The Hungarian-American bass is currently studying opera at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. His main operatic credits at Curtis include Prince Gremine in Eugene Onegin by Tchaikovsky, King Arkel in Pelléas et Melisand by Debussye. Collatinus in Britten’s The Rape of Lucretia and General Groves in Doctor Atomic composed by John Adams. He has also taken part in two Opera Philadelphia/Curtis Institute co-productions. Before entering the prestigious Curtis Institute in 2016, Adam earned his Bachelor of Music degree in opera at the Manhattan School of Music in New York City, graduating with high honours. 2016 he was a Philadelphia District winner of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions. An avid recitalist, Adam has performed many of the most important song cycles.
