The Korean baritone was awarded his music degree at the Kwangju College of Arts of the Chonnam National University College of Music in 2015, then he moved to the Parma Conservatory of Music to perfect his skills with Raffele Cortesi and Gianni Maffeo. He was the laureate of several prestigious competitions: in 2017, for instance, he won the 22nd edition of the “Gaetano Zinetti" International Music Prize as well as a special prize at the 12th International Competition "Cappuccilli-Patané-Respighi". He has an over ten year-long experience on the opera stage with roles like Guglielmo in Mozart’s Così fan tutte and the Count in Le nozze di Figaro, Marcello in La bohème, Germont in Verdi’s La traviata as well as the title role of Rigoletto, among others. He has also appeared as a soloist in Händel's Messiah and Mendelssohn’s Elijah.
