Ms Jessen is a graduate student at the University of Music Würzburg. At the Udo Reinemann International Masterclasses of International Song, she could spend a year studying a large variety of Lied repertoire. Her roles include Belinda and the Sorceress in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, Mozart’s Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte, the Countess in the Le Nozze di Figaro, Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni as well as Mimi in La bohème and Colombina Busoni’s Arlecchino all for the University of Music Würzburg. For years, she has been collaborating with the Dutch National Touring Opera, and will make her stage debut with them in 2019 with the role of Mrs Anderssen in A Little Night Music by Sondheim. She is also an established, internationally acknowledged flautist, now Solo Flautist of the Mannheim Philharmonic Orchestra.
