Ms Gorlo graduated from the Saint Petersburg State Academy of Theatre Arts in 2008, then for five years she was trained at the Russian University of Theatre Arts (GITIS) at the Faculty of music, specialization in musical theatre. Since 2014, she has been a soloist at The Mariinsky Academy of Young Opera Singers. Her repertoire covers the mezzo-soprano protagonist, Hansel in Hansel and Gretel by Humperdinck, the Little robber girl in Banevich’s The Story of Kai and Gerda, Tkachiha in The Tale of Tsar Saltancomposed by Rimsky-Korsakov, Fedor in Mussorgsky’s Boris Godunov. She also has several other stage-ready roles, such Olga in Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin, Polina in The Queen of Spadesand Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro.
