The baritone was born in 1988 in Shostka, Ukraine. In 2009 he graduated from a music college with a degree in vocal performance. Between 2008 and 2013 he continued studying with Vitaly Jmudenko at the Ukraine National Academy of Music, where he earned a diploma and then a master’s degree. From 2011 until 2014 he was a soloist at the National Opera of Ukraine where he performed the roles of Figaro in Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia, Barone in Verdi’s La Traviata, Robert in Tchaikovsky’s Iolanta and the title role in Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin. In 2013 he won the 3rd prize at the “Neue Stimmen” International Competition in Guetersloh, Germany. From 2014 to 2017 he was a member of the Bolshoi Theatre Young Artist Program, and since 2020 he is again a soloist of the National Opera of Ukraine.
