Irena Alhazov graduated from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance in 2016, and after that she became a member of the Opera Studio of the Israeli Opera from 2016 until 2018. Irena was offered to work with Mrs Joan Dornemann in the IVAI organization in 2014. In 2015 she had the opportunity to work with Maestra Montserrat Caballé in Zaragoza. Twice won a scholarship award from Eli Leon’s foundation while being a member of the Opera Studio.
She was a finalist in the International Benvenuto Franci Opera Competition in Italy in 2017, and in the Neapolitan Masters Competition in 2021, and winner of the first prize in the JIOM opera competition in 2019.
She has sung several roles at the Israeli opera, such as: Pamina (Die Zauberflöte), Blanche (Dialogues des carmélites), Mrs Gobineau (The Medium), Micaëla (Carmen), Susanna (Le Nozze di Figaro), Giulietta (I Capuleti e I Montecchi) and more.
In 2021 she became an audition winner of the Italian Concert series of DictionBuddy. She made her debut as Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte in Landestheater Coburg, Germany in 2022.
