Moon Hye Young graduated from Seoul National University and continued her studies abroad at The Juilliard School in New York. During her school years, she performed in NYIOP Korea Economic Daily Concert in Lotte Concert Hall, Seoul, with the Hankyung Philharmonic Orchestra. At the Julliard, she sang in Händel’s Teseo, in The Rake’s Progress and in L’Orfeo. She made her debut at Deutsche Oper Berlin singing The Queen of the Night, Die Fiaker-Milli, Frasquita and other roles in the 2022/23 season. In her second season, she made role debuts as Contessa di Folleville, Chiang Ch’ing, Blumenmädchen, and continued performing as The Queen of the Night. During the 2023/24 season, she also made a debut in her hometown with the Korea National Opera singing The Queen of the Night on “Die Zauberflöte Korea Tour” in various venues. In the 2024/25 season, she continues to perform at Deutsche Oper Berlin.
