From 2016 Elizaveta Kulagina studied at the St. Petersburg Conservatory under Tamara Novichenko, and attended masterclasses by Elena Obraztsova, Sergei Leiferkus, Ildar Abdrazakov, Barbara Frittoli, Dmitry Vdovin, Ramón Vargas, among others. After graduating from the Young Artists Program of the Helikon Opera Moscow Musical Theatre, she was accepted into the opera’s ensemble in September 2021, where she currently works. She was awarded with a special prize in the 17th Montserrat Caballé International Singing Competition (Madrid, 2022), a special prize in the 17th Tchaikovsky International Competition and third prize in the 14th Elena Obraztsova International Competition in St. Petersburg in 2023. In the summer of 2024 Elizaveta joined the Young Singers Project of the Salzburg Festival, where she will perform in The Gambler by Prokofiev.
