Kim Jungrae Noah was prizewinner in the Tenor Viñas Competition (Spain) and one of the finalists in the Neue Stimmen Competition (Germany) in 2015. The following year, he was a finalist in the Toulouse International Singing Competition (France). An alumnus of the Seoul National University, he studied under Kwang Chul Youn. He debuted as an opera singer in the role of Belcore in L’elisir d’amore in Seoul. His first European debut was in 2016 by portraying Masetto in Don Giovanni at the Bregenz Festival. The same year, he also sang the bass solo in Weber’s Jubelmesse with the Herz Jesu Church Choir in Bregenz. During the season 2018/19 at the International Opera Studio in Zurich, he performed in Madama Butterfly, Rigoletto and Il barbiere di Siviglia. He returned to the studio in the 2022/23 season, and sang in Faust, La traviata, Roméo et Juliette and Turandot.
