The pre-jury has reached a decision: 59 women and 35 men representing 31 countries make it through to the live rounds in September 2018.

More valid applications than ever before have been received by the Liszt Academy for the competition being arranged in September 2018. The field promises to be more diverse than ever, partly due to the fact that the video promoting the competition set Latin American and Russian social media sites on fire.
