The young tenor Shuai Han was born in China. He first studied at East China Normal University in Shanghai, during his training he performed as Turiddu in Cavalleria rusticana and as White fool in Yuanye, as well as in prestigious halls such as Shanghai Concert Hall and Shanghai Majestic Theatre. In 2014, he was awarded 2nd prize at the International Vocal Competition in Singapore. In 2018, Shuai Han began master studies at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar, majoring in opera singing in the class of Prof. Siegfried Gohritz. There he gained experience with Jena Philharmonic Orchestra. His repertoire during his studies includes roles such as Tamino (Die Zauberflöte), Don Basilio (Le nozze di Figaro), Idomeneo (Idomeneo), Camille de Rosillon (Die lustige Witwe), Dagobert (Global Players, premiere). As a soloist in demand, he also performed as a lied and oratorio singer in Europe. In Bad Ischl, Austria he sang Schubert’s Mass in C major in Weimar and Jena he sang Dvořák’s Stabat Mater.

In the season 2021/2022 he can be seen as Ernesto (Don Pasquale) at the Mittelsächsisches Theater.
