Aleksandra Blanik started her adventure with classical singing at the age of 14. Her singing teacher at the secondary music school was Prof. Dr hab. Agata Kobierska. Since 2019, she has been studying at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice (Poland), also in the class Prof. Dr hab. Agata Kobierska. She is currently a 3rd year student in undergraduate studies. Highlights of her career: 3rd prize at the VIII Polish competition of chamber duos in Wroclaw (Poland), 1st prize at the VII Krystyna Jamroz National Vocal Competition in Busko-Zdrój (Poland). In 2021, she won3rd prize at the 1st International Monika Swarowska-Walawska Vocal Festival & Competition in Krzeszowice (Poland), Grand Prix at the International Competition For Young Musicians “Nouvelles Étoiles” in Paris, 1st prize at the Vocal Competition at the “Moscow International Music Competition” in Russia, Grand Prix at the International Vocal Competition in Vienna “International Viennese Spring Music Competition” in Austria and in 2020, 3rd prize at the Ars et Gloria International Vocal Competition of Sacred Music in Katowice (Poland). She received a scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage for her artistic achievements in 2018/2019. Her opera debut took place on the stage of the Silesian Opera in 2020, in the choral part in Stanislaw Moniuszko’s opera Verbum nobile. In April this year, she sang the part of Donna Anna from Mozart’s Don Giovanni, at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, with the orchestra conducted by Alexander Humala. In 2022, she sang a soprano part in Mozart’s Coronation Mass. She has taken part in numerous vocal workshops with such outstanding singers as Izabela Kłosińska, Stefania Toczyska, Andrzej Dobber and Mariusz Kwiecień.
