Between 2010 and 2014, she was studying at the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory, then she went on to perfect her skills at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg. She participated in the masterclasses of Marjana Lipovsek and Michaela Schuster. She was a finalist at the „Sacred Music”International Competition in Rome in 2013. Ms Chubonova collaborated with the choir of the Northern German Broadcasting (NDR) and with the ensemble Barokwerk, Hamburg. She is also a regular performer of sacred music. Parts listed in her repertoire are Olga in Tshaikovsky’ Onegin, Polina in The Queen of Spades, Cherubino in Le Nozze di Figaro as well as several cantatas by Bach (BWV 62, BWV 82 and BWV 144).
